Cast On to Cast Off Workshop
Instructor: Rhonda Culbert
1 Session Workshop: Sunday April 11 1:00 - 4:30 with a 15 minute break
Class Fee: $30 (6 Person Maximum so get in quick!)
Many of us leverage only one or two methods to cast on or bind off and it’s typically the one we learned first. But did you know there are literally 100’so cast ons and bind offs that have unique properties and can be better than others for certain projects? Well we’re not going to teach you all of them, but in this 3 hour workshop we’ll teach you several methods that will help you in so many projects. Want to solve an issue you might have with the only cast on you know right now? Is it too tight for some projects like sock or sleeve cuffs and you want to know what to use instead? Or is it too loose (like the Backward Loop or E cast on) or sloppy and you just know it could be better? Or would you like a replacement for the tight Plain Old cast off you always use? Learn why a pattern might call for a particular type of cast on or cast off. You don't like what they ask for; then replace it with one of your own. One from that bag-of-tricks you will now have after taking this workshop.
Please note: Advanced payment and registration is required to hold your spot in all classes.
